Shaker Design Arm Chairs, Rockers and Side Chairs

Our Shaker Chairs and stools are original designs that embody the spirit of traditional Shaker seating. As with our Windsor Chairs, we have tried to make the classics better by using a more ergonomic approach to the back and seat of the slat back chairs. A more supportive lumbar area and a more comfortable shoulder area. We have increased the strength in the joints by cross-pinning and using epoxy.  Our stools have a comfortable carved saddle and stable base and our counter chairs feature the same construction as our other slat back chairs with the convenience of more height for kitchen or bar height counters. The option of tape or rattan seats offer choices suitable for any decor.

If any piece of furniture made by Windsor Chairmakers breaks under the typical usage for which it is intended, we will repair it at no charge for the original purchaser for as long as they own it. The guarantee is non-transferable and does not convey. This guarantee does not include delivery or shipping to and/or from our shop. It does not include the finish on the piece (ie. paint, dye, stain, glazes, sealers, topcoats, or waxes applied to any piece by us or any you may have applied yourself. If you or someone else has damaged the finish on your Windsor Chairmakers furniture, we are happy to discuss potential touch up or refinishing for which we would charge our usual shop rate plus shipping or delivery to and/or from our shop.
